Have used blazers for a few years now w/ wraps and no problems. Have thought about changing, maybe to a 3″ but the blazers just flat out work for me.

I guess i was thinking of carbon tubes for limbs, similar to an arrow. I know i can flex them pretty far without any damage or kinking. Unsure of what it would take to maintain consistent deflextion but i will let the engineers figure that one and i will stick to shootin……..

what about the possibility of making limbs round in shape, stronger maybe with a tube shape there also?????

i agree with ontarget, previous years had me struggling with fixed blades beyond 50 yards so i switched to mechanicals. Last year i had a moose tag and wanted to shoot fixed. From what i know it kind of a learnng process on what you bears like. I have talked to people that have actually watched bears pic through the bait to get their favorite. Bacon grease will work great. Good scent and lots of calories. We scent our sponges with bacon spray and have had pics [...]

here are some pics from my trail cam…….when they found the barrel, it was on. In one day i had 9 hits on my barrel by what i figure was 4 different bears.

We use dog food and popcorn. What ever is cheap. Just to keep the barrel full. If we find other things on sale or cheap we try it. Set up for bowfishing this year so hopefully i will have some carp to through in. We also hang scented sponges to get it airborne. I didnt [...]
