Hey Stoney, I might be missing something here on Spine… Not sure if I understand the reason to have a correct spine. I always assumed having a shorter stiffer arrow is a good thing. I also shoot a 29.5 inch draw 70lb bow and have cut easton axxis 340 to about 26-27 shaft length as [...]

I would be traveling from Eastern Sierra CA so Mtn Mile is a treck but I would really like to make it. Hit me up if anyone would like to car pool.

I have two of them: – REI nylon trekking pants. They are light weight and cool for Aug/Sep hunting and scouting. The zip off pant legs can be zipped half way and this adds to the ventilation in the back of the knee area. I have found nylon pants at Bass Pro but they have [...]

Deep 6- Can’t wait to get my hands on a couple dozen of these arrow. Have loved the Axxis 340 tipped with spitfire. Now it will be a system 330 Carbon Injexion tipped with a special sized spitfire this will do away with BAR. Hopefully Easton will sell with a 3 degree offset instead of [...]

Oregon- I’m not an expert but I also shoot Maxxis 31 70lbs, 29.5 inch draw. I went with easton 340 Axxis arrows the past couple years and love them. If you’re worried about weight maybe try and cut down your arrow some so it only goes over the rest by half an inch or switch [...]

I also give them props for pushing design but don’t see what I would personally get from this bow. Maybe if it was more defined and went from 7-6” of brace height and had less funk. Oh wait if a pissed off bear was attacking you this might be a good club/blocker.

So I’m ordering some new winners choice strings and want to know what your opinion is. Winners choice says they mostly sell Bcy 8152- but they also make strings in BCY 452x.
So what’s the difference has anyone used both materials.

    Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for the tip on bleach/ hydro mixture. I think I will try it your way, I picked my head of all the flesh I could but haven’t got to the boiling whiteing process.
