Hey guys sorry i have been gone for a long time, got a new house and have been moving in and remodeling and decided to not get wifi so i wouldnt be sidetracked and on forums all day, but i need some ideas! I’m going to try some helicals at about 3 degrees, Ill be trying them on a few different arrows but im torn between the fusion fletchings and the nap twisters. Has anyone had a bad experience with either of these or encourage one over the other. Im sure ill try them both at some point but cant decide where to start. Any feedback is great.
Also anyone already reserving spots for bowcast at the bird? or can we do that yet? tried to call anthony and havent heard back. (I hope you read this hahaa) ps im behind in bowcast due to no internet at home, im still in januarys episodes.
I personally recommend the Fusions. You may also want to experiment with a 4 fletch. I tried the NAPs before and never really liked them. The Fusions are very durable and sturdy. I love them! If weight is an issue, I also suggest the Dura Vanes from Norway Industries. They are very good vanes and weigh a considerable amount less than the Fusions. If you are set on a 2″, I also recommend the Predators. Hope this helps! I am not sure if you can reserve your BATB spot yet or not. I will look into it. Hope this helps!
Thanks ill order some and try them, i mainly just want to try smaller fletchings, i have had straight blazers and 4 inch vanes and they worked but im sure i can make something better. i was going to try 3 vanes, 4 vanes at 90 degrees, and even some odd degree angles. only one way to find out what works best!
I am running 3″ Fusions this year and so far I am having great results! I recently changed my string so I have more tuning to do again, but earlier this winter I was getting great long range performance with them with high levels of helical.
