    Who is excited and is planning on competing in this event? The Bowathlon gives us a reason to use the word “extreme!” This event will be a must for any bowhunter/ runner/ trail runner. Help spread the word on any forums that you participate in. Let’s get this event booming!!!!!!!!

    If i remember right they said that there is gonna be only 50 people to compete in the event. How are they going to decide who the 50 people are ?

    The competitors will basically be chosen based on their ability to physically compete in the event and their activeness in showcasing how they are training and preparing for the event.

    Yup!!!!! This thing has me excited. I listened to the episode while on the treadmill and instantly turned up the speed and incline. Talk about some motivation. Rehabing my shoulder from surgery was getting a little depressing……now i have the mile and an Alaska Spring bear hunt to be ready for. Full steam ahead!!! See you all at the bird

    1 mile is nothing come join in at TOUGH MUDDER in January and you will wish all you had to do is one mile. this being the first year it will probably be all there friends and and celebrities that will compete in it, plus you know that dude from train to hunt and hoyt fitness will probably win…..

    It will be the toughest mile of your life. Plus, take into account that you will be shooting your bow on top of running. If you think it is nothing, you will have no problem winning…….

    Regardless how tough it is, it’s still just a mile. TOUGH MUDDER’S are tough, but they’re a completely different event. 100 mile ultra runs are tough, but again not the same event. Shooting arrows and running, what more could you want.

    I hope to see this event really turn into something that is different and is set apart from other events.

    I am leaning towards doing a blind draw to narrow it to 50. Seems the most fair method, no politics involved…
